the story by Sophie
May th 1996 a day to remember, the day on which my own very first Shih Tzu was born. We already had three Shih Tzu bitches at home, but they belonged to my parents. I wanted one for myself so desperately, to take to shows like a friend of ours, Jolanda of the Superstitious kennel. While we were visiting there a bitch was mated and my dad said that the first male to be born out of that bitch was ours. The day on which the bitch was due came and like it was a miracle, I was there and witnessed birth! The very first puppy which was born was a male, so he was mine. He got two sisters, so it was a litter of three, they all looked different. They were born on the day the Dutch celebrate their freedom, so were were extremely happy that all went so well and that Banditha was a mother to be proud of. I had to wait for my boy for a long time, but now I had all the time to prepare everything for the big day to come, his arrival at this new home with his new mommy. We were best friends from the first day on and until today were are inseparable. At this first show he became Best Puppy of 1996. Wimoon is a dog who doesn't know what a bad mood is, he's always happy and a sweet boy but with a mind of his own. That makes him so really special! |
